Argentina was a brilliant experience as we were there to explore the possibility of investing in a small vineyard project back in 2004. At the time in Argentina the currency was extremely undervalued (relative to the USD) and we were convinced that the Malbec grape was destined to flourish. Malbec was already thriving in Argentina and its future has only grown brighter since then as the quality of these wines continues to head higher.
We were there with a small group of friends and family and although we had the adventure of a lifetime we never did buy into a property. …maybe someday in the future!
